If you want to make the mountains a better place, clean up a rat's nest of TAT! Here is one way you can equalize three pieces using a 10 foot length of 9mm rope. Cord or webbing works great too.

1. Remove all old TAT with a knife
2. Tie Retraced Overhand Knot to top piece
3. Slide rap rings onto rope
4. Pass rope through second piece, and back through rap rings
5. Tie Retraced Overhand Knot to bottom piece
6. Tie Overhand on a Bight just above the rap rings (master point) to eliminate potential extension.
